No Software Inventory on Machines where SCCM Mgmt Point is installed Hi, we are running now the production release and i was wondering (same in the Eval Version) why on some DELL Servers the software inventory is not possible. You can execute the built-in reports from the SCCM console or from SSRS website. Open the SCCM console and navigate to Monitoring / Reporting / Reports; Right click on the report you want to execute and select Run. To edit the report with Report Builder, select Edit. SCCM Device Hardware Inventory.

I'm trying to identify if a particular .exe exists on any of the machines in the environment.. The software inventory has been configured for quite some time (well over a year) to find all .exe files on the client hard drive (excluding the windows file path).
Sccm Installed Software Inventory
When I run the report, I get no hits for the file. It is possible no client has the file, but when I create a dummy txt file, and rename it to the file I'm looking for (random.exe), the report still shows no results. I've placed the file on the root of the c: drive, and performed the software inventory scan manually on the client from the config manager actions. I see the scan ran successfully, but I still get nothing on the SCCM reports.
